Our baby girl Clara Lynn, aka @ClaraConquers, was born with Down Syndrome and an infectious smile in 2021. In just over two years she’s conquered two heart surgeries to correct a heart defect (Atrioventricular canal defect) and five rounds of Chemotherapy battling a form of Leukemia called ML-DS.

She’s currently in remission (yay!) and is waiting for the right time for her next heart surgery, this one to replace a heart valve likely in late 2024.

These days she’s learning to walk, perfecting her sign language and doing her best to tolerate her twin sister Casey.

While we hope that her cancer is gone for good, we know that she will need a series of heart surgeries and related care going forward. She also needs ongoing Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy so she can keep up with her sister.

We make these cookies to share a little of her sweetness and, yes, to help raise money to cover the costs of her care.
